What is the environment?
The
environment is the space in which we live, and it is everything around us. It contains
both living beings and non-living elements. It is very important to take care
of the environment.

What is environmental contamination?
Environmental contamination is the presence of elements harmful to humans and all living beings.
The environment
is contaminated in various ways, including:
· Air
pollution: Due to the emission of gases from automobiles, smoke from factories,
burning of forests, etc.
· Soil
pollution: Due to the garbage that people throw.
· Water
pollution: Due to the presence of chemical products and plastics in rivers and
seas.

Which daily activities contaminate, or pollute the environment?
- Use a lot of plastic, for example, drink water from plastic bottles- Leave the lights on- Throw gum on the ground- Leave the water tap open- Throw disposable wipes in the toilet- Drive cars that use gasoline- Create a lot of garbage

What daily activities can reduce the contamination, or pollution of the
environment?
- Save energy: turn off lights- Reduce car use/ use public transport/ ride bycicle- Reduce the use of plastic- Separate and recycle- Turn off the water taps- Do not throw papers into the toilet- Quick showers- Reuse paper- Collect garbage
